The Basic Air Conditioning Tune-Up must be scheduled between May 1 and July 31 of the current year.

 

THE FOLLOWING SERVICES ARE INCLUDED:

​

• Lubricate all moving parts, including bearings, blower motor and condenser fan.
   

• Check the blower motor and adjust the belt if applicable.
   

• Evaluate the condition of air filters. Clean or replace with customer supplied filters.
   

• Check the refrigerant level. (Adding refrigerant is an extra charge).
   

• Test "temperature drop" at return and supply air.
   

• Install gauges and record operating pressures.
   

• Clear condensate drain to protect against overflow.
   

• Tighten and safety test all wires and connections.
   

• Safety-test all controls for proper operation.
   

• Test operation and condition of compressor contacts.
   

• Inspect, start and run capacitors and inspect relays for bulges, rust and leaks.
   

• Check the outdoor condenser coil.
   

• Inform customer of equipment condition. Recommend repairs when necessary.
